Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Predator: Badlands follows two sisters, Thia (Elle Fanning) and Tessa (Florence Pugh), who were separated during a Predator invasion years ago. While Thia has become a scientist searching for peaceful solutions, Tessa is now a hardened warrior who has spent years hunting the creatures responsible for their suffering.
When reports emerge of a new, evolved Predator species, the sisters are forced to reunite. Unlike previous Predators, this one has adapted to human strategies—it learns from every battle, making it nearly unstoppable. As Thia and Tessa track the creature across the barren wasteland, they discover that this Predator isn’t here just to hunt—it’s the scout for a full-scale invasion.
In the final battle, Tessa sacrifices herself in a desperate attempt to stop the Predator, allowing Thia to activate an EMP weapon that disables its technology. However, the Predator survives, escaping into the shadows. In a shocking post-credits scene, an older Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) appears, warning a secret resistance group about the incoming invasion, setting up a sequel.
The film ends on a cliffhanger, teasing a larger war between humanity and the Predators. With a blend of intense action, emotional storytelling, and franchise nostalgia, Predator: Badlands is poised to revitalize the Predator series for a new generation while honoring its roots.
